Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and organizers CMBC’s famous Beginner Mountain Bike Skills Clinic is a go again this year! This clinic is highly recommended for all riders interested in learning more and progressing through the basic fundamental mountain biking skills. Getting this course under your belt will set you up for the best season of mountain biking you’ve ever had!
Dates: Mondays May 4th, 11th, 25th, June 1st, 8th.
Start time: 6pm on May 4th, 6:30pm for all other sessions.
End time: 8:30 or 9:00pm
Location: Meet at the S.S. Klondike.
WHO CAN REGISTER? The Beginner Mountain Bike Skills Clinic is open to adult CMBC members who have NOT taken this clinic with Grant and Gerard before. (There might be a refresher session later in the season who have participated in previous years, so stay tuned throughout the summer!)
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? The cost for the 5 session clinic is $40 total.
HOW TO REGISTER: ** Pre-registration is mandatory**. To register email Julie at firstname.lastname@example.org, include your CMBC membership number for 2015, your name and phone number. Please note that all participants MUST be able to attend the first session (May 4th, 6pm) and we ask for best efforts to attend all sessions.
WHAT TO BRING:
Participation fee: $40 for full clinic registration, bring cash or cheque (made out to Contagious Mountain Bike Club) to the first session on May 4th.
Mandatory gear: mountain bike in fully functioning condition AND helmet.
Warm clothing (those may evenings can get chilly!), lots of layers!
