DESCRIPTION:SNOW GIRLS – SPECIAL RIDE \nJoin Snow Girls for a 17.6 km (11 mile) fat bike ride this Sunday as we tour around Mary Lake! Ride will be led by Nadele cause she says she knows the route! \n\nThis is more of a scenic fat bike tour than a technical ride\, with gradual ups and downs along the way. The trail is packed and maintained by snowmobiles\, so it should be fairly smooth and firm if temps stay below zero. \nThis weekend is also International Women’s Day\, and the release of Winterlong Brewing Co.’s annual all woman-brewer beer “Witchcraft”  \n Meeting Spot: Junction of Fireweed Road and the turnoff to the Cadet Camp\n Start Time: 11:00 AM – Let’s get rolling before the sun softens the snow!\n Route Info: GPX file available if you want to check it out\, or take a look at Strava Flythrough and route overview map.\n Bring water and a snack – we’ll stop to take in the views!\n Estimated Duration: ~2 to 2.5 hours\n Post-ride option: For any who wish to join\, a refreshing post-ride beer at Winterlong! \nIf you can make it we will see you there!  \n\nDon’t forget to bring your Contagious Mountain Bike Club membership number! \nPlease visit our Snow Girls page for further details about Snow Girls.
