SUMMARY:Trail Day - Amanda Taylor Memorial Trail
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our second Trail Day of the season! We’ll be working on the Amanda Taylor Memorial Trail at Mount Mac\, which connects Reimer Reason to Bouncing Bunny\, making it a fantastic addition to our local network. We will meet at the Sarah Steele hut on the Mt. McIntyre ski trails where we will drive in tools for the day. If you come late there will be tools to grab at the hut and a sign. Follow the flags to the trail or navigate to the trail using Trailforks and walk until you find the work crew. Snacks\, drinks and a light lunch will be provided but please bring your own water. Come anytime\, we plan to work from 9:30 to 2:30 to give organizers time to mobilize/demobilize from the Sarah Steele Rendezvous point. \nSturdy footwear and work gloves are essential and eye protection is recommended. \nHuge thanks to our event sponsor\, ISL Engineering and Land Services\, for making this day possible! \nA CMBC membership is required to attend these events.

SUMMARY:Trail Day - Downtown Boogaloo
DESCRIPTION:A Whitehorse classic. If you’ve been riding this trail for more than a decade\, you know it’s evolved. Trails do that. It’s time to give Downtown some love. No experience necessary. \nCMBC organizers will meet at 9:00 am at the Magnusson Parking lot. One small truck will transport tools up Woodcutters to the Midtown Boogaloo connector\, so biking up is recommended. Feel free to meet us at the Magnusson parking lot or make your own way to the Midtown Connector for ~9:30 am. If you arrive after 9:30\, grab some tools and head up Downtown Boogaloo. We’ll finish up around 2:30 pm. \nDrinks and food will be provided\, but please bring extra water. \nSturdy footwear and work gloves are essential\, and eye protection is recommended. \nOn Trail Days\, we build and maintain trails in the Whitehorse area. For more information\, see our Trail Days page. A CMBC membership is required to attend these events. \nHuge thanks to our event sponsor\, Yukon Dentistry\, for making this day possible!

SUMMARY:Trail Day - Amanda Taylor Memorial Trail

SUMMARY:Trail/Dig Day - Upper Boogaloo
DESCRIPTION:Upper Boogaloo\, a very well-ridden (and walked) classic of the “Boogaloo route”. If you fat bike on Grey Mountain\, you’ll know this is an all-season trail\, but it is not without struggle for groomers. Additionally\, there are a lot of exposed dead roots and parallel lines that have developed along the ridges. We’re going to rejuvenate this classic by removing dead roots\, covering live roots and benching out some sections to keep single track single and facilitate a better riding experience all year round. \nWe’ll meet at 9:00 am at the Magnusson parking lot and work until 2:30-3:00 pm. We’ll have drinks\, snacks and lunch\, but please bring extra water. Please feel free to join us for any amount of time you can. We’ll leave some extra tools out near the trailer for later arrivals. \nSturdy footwear and work gloves are essential\, and eye protection is recommended. \nOn Trail Days we build and maintain trails in the Whitehorse area. For more information\, see our Trail Days page. A CMBC membership is required to attend these events. \nA huge thanks to our event sponsor\, ______\, for making this day possible

SUMMARY:Trail Day - 24 hours of Light
DESCRIPTION:24 HOL. An old classic that hosted many races of the same name. The trail needs some love to bring it into the new era and\, hopefully\, make it more winter friendly. That’s the dream anyway\, to be able to groom it. That means lots of bench cutting. \nWe’ll meet at the Mount MacIntyre ski chalet parking lot at 9 am and make our way to the trail. Feel free to join us for whatever time you can on trail between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm. We will be able to drive a couple of vehicles to the worksite\, but it would be ideal for volunteers to bring a bike to get to the trailhead. We’ll be starting at the “old” start of 24 HOL just off lower valley trail. \nHuge thanks to our event sponsor\, for making this day possible!
