Exciting news, hot off the presses that has taken a long time in the making but we got it done!!!
CMBC www.cmbcyukon.ca and Velonorth Cycling Club www.velonorthyukon.ca have joined forces to engage more riders and to cross pollinate our events and clubs based on the surge of gravel bike usage and the huge amount of mountain bikers in our town. We are combining the Royalty of the Canyon (Aug 22) and the Gravel Growler (Sept 19) events into "The Series" for even more prizes to be handed out.
Here are the requirements to qualify for "The Series" prizes.
Eligibility:
1. Must compete in both Royalty of the Canyon and Gravel Growler events

3. Must volunteer for either Velonorth or CMBC for 1 hr to qualify Here are some volunteer options: CMBC trail nights (3 upcoming), de-flagging (ROC, GG), set-up, help organize, clean up, take down, photographer, help organize the inside of Velo or CMBC trailer, etc. There are no shortage of opportunities to be had. Prizes:
Overall winner best combined times women and men. - 3x prizes as door prizes for competing and volunteer efforts. - biggest heart/effort award for male and female with some swag from CMBC and or Velo.
(I stole this idea from Shredhers and I love it) - there will be some doozy prizes and lots of them so stay tuned.
