TRAIL WORK UPDATE
In 2025, CMBC hosted 11 volunteer trail days and facilitated 1 trail brushing day with a Youth Group and 2 trail work days with the Yukon Literacy Coalition for over 500 person hours put into trail work and maintenance in the summer season.
We completed Ollie’s trail, which offers an alternative to Grey Mountain Road from RIP to Magnusson parking lot, and a new climb route on Boogaloo Heights in anticipation of an additional technical trail feature to be added to Boogaloo Heights in 2026. The start of Boogaloo heights will whet the appetite for the new unnamed trail descending from Boogaloo Heights to the Magnusson-Yellow Brick Road connector. The new trail offers optional airtime on jumps and a large wooden on-off box feature. We will continue tread work and add more jumps and features to this trail in 2026 but the trail is now rideable from top to bottom.
CMBC also contributed two trail days to the member-led Amanda Taylor Memorial Trail; this project is nearly ready to be open. We also did some maintenance work on Mad to the Max by cleaning up some corners and putting a little support in to allow for more grip an speed to be carried through some of the loose flat corners on that trail.
We welcome feedback on where else you would like to see us focus efforts in 2026.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION NIGHT – NOVEMBER 5
Come join us at Yukon Brewing to help appreciate all our hard working volunteers who helped make this year an epic one for mountain biking!
All volunteers are welcome, including ride leaders and organizers for Dirt Girls or Snow Girls, trail day volunteers, winter groomers, and skills coaches.
Free pizza and drinks will be served from our sponsors Panago Pizza and Yukon Brewing!

SKILLS CLINICS – SEASON RECAP
What a fantastic season for CMBC Skills Clinics! Over 100 riders took part across 17 groups from May to September — from first-timers to seasoned shredders.
A huge thanks to everyone who joined us. We loved helping you build skills, boost confidence, and (most importantly) have more fun on your bike!
Big shout out to our awesome coaches Christine, Kate, David and Sammy, along with our super assistants Stian, Hazen and Maddox. Your expertise and stoke made the clinics the success they were.
We’re also proud to share that CMBC will donate some of the proceeds from this year’s Skills Clinics to once again support Singletrack to Success and the amazing work they do.
Mark your calendars — Skills Clinics roll back into action in Spring 2026. See you on the trails!
